The Better Halves strongly believe that music should bring joy and hope to people of all ages. They were very lucky to be approached by a woman named Ann one day while they were performing a volunteer show at a Rehab Center. Ann invited them to come play a show for an Alzheimer's Respite program. That was in 2011. They have been playing MONTHLY for that program ever since, expanding their repertoire of fun, upbeat songs from the 40s, 50s and 60s for folks at memory care units, retirement communities, nursing homes and Alzheimer's Groups. Their music, combined with their big smiles and happy spirits, gives almost as much as they get back from doing this kind of work!

They are always happy to play for new places and for Golden Anniversary parties, so please contact them if you'd like to arrange a show. And they always offer to learn a special song or two for various events and holidays, even in a foreign language, which is how they ended up with some Spanish songs on their list!
